I'll say it till I'm blue in the face… if you don't have a properly-developed website driving customers to you, you're simply leaving money lying uncollected on the table.

If you do have a website, and it's drifting aimlessly somewhere up there in cyberspace, lonely as an orphan on Father's Day, with fewer visitors than a roadside diner in the middle of the desert, it's about as useful as not having one at all.

I've harped on this many times… in this day and age, having a website that actually gets traffic can be more effective as your unpaid salesperson than any amount of Yellow Pages advertising and newspaper ads combined.

Many of our Members have recognised this, and the smart ones very quickly signed up to have IC coach and web specialist David Glendinning build a specialist customer-generating website for them.

The Little Things Make the Difference!

Hi everyone,

We have just won the Central Coast Business Awards for the most outstanding hairdressing salon. Our category was the largest and we were up against some excellent salons so we must be doing something right!

One thing we've tried hard to implement and the thing that I've noticed about other succesful business's is that the little things they do make the difference.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions about what we could do for our clients to add that extra nice touch to their hairdressing experience.

We already do some things but I'm sure there other many things that we don't do and haven't thought of, that we should be doing.

If anyone can give me some helpful advice I would appreciate it and in return I will give you a 3 word ad in large letters that we put out on a poster in front of our salon. It works really well for us.

Hi Wayne, At my salon in tassie we offer refreshments like other salons BUT we have them all set out on a menu, with descriptions of each refreshment, including mocktails, a real hit. Hope this helps, love to know what your outside message is that really works for you,

Hi Wayne, one of the many things we do to personlize our clients service is to have their name placed on a reserved for [name] card at each station, a bit of fun but the clients love it! We also take before & after shots of each client that has a major change and post them out to them in the mail. Just like Tina I would also love the info on your 3 word poster!
