He may look like an accountant, but the man in this picture is one of Australia’s brightest online minds – and we’re delighted to announce he’s joining Worldwide Salon Marketing as our new Director of Online.
In fact, it’s a homecoming of sorts for George Slater, who was responsible for establishing the company’s entire online marketing and database infrastructure in the early days of Worldwide Salon Marketing, in the mid-2000s.
Then he was lured away by the giant online Yellow Pages organisation, Sensis, as a consultant/trainer. But George re-joins us from June 24, taking charge of the company’s own online marketing efforts, as well as providing website and social media services for our Member salons all over the world.
(Many of our Member salons are still reaping the benefits of George’s work all those years ago, with websites that bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for their salon businesses.)
We’re delighted to have him back, and look forward to using his skills to drive the company forward for the next several years.
