New Zealand ‘Road to Riches’ Salon Seminars Get Under Way

Chris & Rachael(small).JPG Worldwide Salon Marketing New Zealand kicked of their 2009 calendar of Road to Riches seminars on Monday May 11 in Rotorua, the home of bubbling hot mud pools and steaming geysers.

It our first seminar of the year, and we’re pleased to say it was a HUGE success!!!

In the week leading up to the seminar we mystery called dozens of central North Island salons and used these as a platform to coach the attending salons on using their telephone to their advantage. The stunned salon owners were blown away at how much money they were wasting just by simply not using the phone the right way!

Managing director of ‘Success IS’ and five star international speaker Debbie Mayo-Smith followed and wowed the guests with simple techniques on getting a better work life balance, how to be more productive, improve customer service and save weeks of your life every year by using easy to follow technology tips. Debbie’s ‘tell it like it is’, down to earth style along with her challenging and visual presentation captivated the audience for over an hour.

Then Rachael took the stage once more, explaining why 99% of everything you’ve been told about marketing for your salon or spa, is utter nonsense.

Rachael showed the type of dumb thinking and toxic advertising used by salons worldwide, including a $12,000 magazine advertising campaign that she personally used in her own Salon 2 ½ years ago (prior to being an Inner Circle member) and didn’t bring in a single customer.

Attending the seminar were Inner Circle Salon superstars Carl & Mellanie Smith from Saving Face Health & Beauty in Whakatane, Lisa Van Dyk from Gloss Beauty Boutique in Matamata and Heather Jacobs from Zuki’s Hamilton.

All shared their experiences from using the tools provided by Worldwide Salon Marketing and how they would have struggled to survive without them.

In fact Carl & Mellanie Smith revealed how they were close to shutting their doors 12 months ago, and how they had turned things around and increased their income by almost $167,000 since then!
